Dr. Kjersten believes recovery is just the beginning. With advanced training in adaptive fitness, neurological rehab, and aging populations, she specializes in helping people regain independence and push beyond perceived limits. 

Her background includes hands-on training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) principles, CrossFit Level 1 methodology, and she is a certified Adaptive and Inclusive Trainer—giving her the tools to tailor movement strategies to every body, ability, and goal.

Known for creativity, intensity, and compassion, Kjersten sees progress as personal—and believes her patients deserve care that adapts as they grow.

Outside the Clinic:
Born and raised on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, Kjersten feels most at home outside. She enjoys hiking, weightlifting, cross country skiing, and spending time outdoors with her wife, Anya, and their two dogs—Riley and Kenai.

Anya is a skilled and compassionate physical therapist assistant with a strong focus on neurological rehabilitation and older adult care. She specializes in working with patients 55 and older—especially those navigating life after stroke or managing Parkinson’s disease.

Her approach is rooted in empathy, encouragement, and practical progress. Patients consistently describe Anya as someone who sees their potential even when they can’t—and helps them take meaningful steps toward better movement, confidence, and participation in everyday life.

Anya’s background includes experience across outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, acute care, and home health. She brings that versatility into every session, blending her hands-on expertise with evidence-based methods to guide each patient’s path to recovery.

Outside the Clinic:
Anya moved to the U.S. from Khabarovsk, Russia in 2013 to pursue a career in medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming, cross-stitching, taking road trips, and exploring National Parks across the country. Anya also loves quiet movie nights and shares life’s adventures with her wife, Kjersten, and their two dogs, Riley and Kenai.
